Tiger's eye belongs to the quartz family, it takes its name from the light reflection of the stone that resembles a tiger's eye. Most tiger eye stones are brown-yellow, but there are also blue, red and black tiger eye stones. Tiger's eye is mainly found in South Africa, Australia, the US and Brazil.
